Ethical Policies
Service :
As a Jeweller I take great care to ensure I use the best materials available to craft the most unique and beautiful designs for you.
All my work is Hallmarked in Edinburgh Scotland and I have my own makers mark.
To Make sure you don’t have to worry about the effect diamonds can have on other peoples lives I only sell conflict - free stones. A ‘conflict diamond’ is a diamond that is used to fuel illegal activities against legitimate governments. They have been linked to human rights abuse in countries such as Sierra Leone and Angola. The Kimberly process was launched in 2002 to help stem the trade in conflict diamonds.
All the diamond suppliers I support are committed and support the Kimberly Process and are conflict free.
In addition to my commitment to the Kimberly process, I uphold and support the principles of the Council for Responsible Jewellery Practices. This relatively new body is committed to pursuing ethical processes across the entire supply chain from mine to retailer. This includes the mining of gold and other precious metals, many of which have not been regulated previously. Over time I believe these organisations will generate a significant impact on improving the lives of those involved in all facets of the trade.
You can find out more here:
I supply all my diamonds with an independant certificate, generally GIA.. However you may choose one from the following:
